I played hockey up in Kamloops for a longtime. Kelowna for a short time and Vancouver for a short time. I think about and a-gainst where the words that I remember and eh...
I am Canadian, from Windsor, Ontario. I'm not big on hockey, or any sport for that matter, and winters in Windsor aren't very cold. That being said though, I'm still Canadian.
Another Newfoundlander here. Currently living in St. John's but have lived in Halifax and Ottawa as well. I've been just about everywhere in the country thanks to years of touring and if I had my way (and a pile of cash) I'd move to BC.

She was absolutely convinced that I must live in an igloo and drive a dogsled. She got really ticked off when I told her that I actually live farther south than she does...
Can't skate worth a darn, lousy hockey player. Prefer Starbucks to Tim's, but I still drink a lot of Tim's. No such thing as bad beer - some are just a whole lot better than others, and most Southern ones are pretty dicey, but I can always drink 2 for 1... But I also like good single malt and Italian reds!

Hockey is the only sport I truly understand. The music that gets selected to play on the radio Is better on average up there imo. And when I've visited there ive always felt more at home somehow.

Windsor the home of Hiram Walker's Canadian Club whisky and surrounded on three sides by lakes and beaches in the most southern part of Canada !
Played university intramural hockey for about 6 years . Currently race a dirt track stock car with my brother, I built the engine and do all the fixing after each race night of banging and crashing and side swiping.
Gotta love the Great White North ! ... and the McKenzie brothers eh. lol
