Can't see amp lights in sunlight

I played a gig yesterday afternoon. It was a beautiful sunny day. The problem was I could not see the LED's on my Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 head. I like to have a strong back line presence but I can't see the lights to make sure I'm not clipping. I've had the same issue with my tuner pedal but I can usually shadow it to tune. Thanks!

The GB LEDs are really bright......like.....most people complain about them bright. You could, if you needed to, tape a piece of dark construction paper over the top of the amp to make a shade of sorts. It would be near invisible to the crowd, but give you a bit of shade to see your lights.

Yep....the sun is bright no doubt about it. Also try taking your sunglasses off when you look at it. For some reason they can filter that light out also. I have this problem with my Korg pitchblack tuner. Otherwise I love it.
