Double Bass cars for double bass?

Still use a Ford F-250 Super Duty 4 wheel drive pick em up truck.
Also, to tow a trailer, plow snow, etc.

EDIT: Since I don't seem to have responded to this already, I drive to gigs in either a '97 Honda Civic hatchback, or an '06 Honda CRV. As long as it has the little silver "H" on the front (not in italics), I'll drive it.

IMO best and most relible Used car you can buy as a "Gig Wagon" as I did

My first two new cars were Hondas and after driving at least one from each of the (formerly Big Three) a couple of Volvos and an old Toyota, I'm back to the Honda. The Element is a great car, van, SUV, whatever

'98 Toyota RAV 4.
Took the seats out of the back.
Lay the passenger seat flat,put the body of the upright in the seat,on its side.
No pressure on the neck and tons of room in the back for amps,etc.
I could get my gear in the RAV before but taking the back seats out made it all a much easier fit.

2000 Honda Accord Coupe, non-hatchback.
Bass goes in the front passenger seat (fully reclined), on it's back, end pin towards the rear deck, scroll pointed down and forward. The longer door of a coupe helps make this work. The trunk is plenty big enough for all my gear including a full size music stand and stool. There's enough room left inside for 1 passenger.

Well, the operative word is 'cram'. I used my wife's Yaris once to take my bass to a gig. It went in very well. My rules are:-
Any hatch will do, incl a Nissan Micra which I have used before.
An estate car - of course. I've just got a new Merc C, Registration No BA55 ACE!
A two door coupe because it has nice wide doors and especially one whose back seats fold down - I had a Merc CLK for 8 years as my bass carrier. Lots of amps in the trunk.
A four door saloon, the least convenient. Doors too narrow.

I have a Yaris hatchback. My 3/4 Upton Gamba fits in there if I lower the back seats and turn my bass on her side, placing a few pillows between the front seats. The scroll just lies just shy of the gear shift when passing by 2nd and 4th. I also put a couple of pillows beside her for good measure. I haven't yet added an amp, but there certainly would be room for my Ampeg Rocket and EQ.
My Honda Element is great ... carries everything I need and then some. Just wish it did better than 20-22 mpg ...
Perfect, I'm going to look at one tomorrow. Besides....who needs to drive the deadbeat pianist to work anyway?
We looked extensively for cars that will fit 1 bass + 2 kidss. Our Rav-4 has a third row, and utilizing this we can fit 2 people in the second row and 1 in the third row, for a total of 5 pasengers, plus the bass. Our Prius can fit 4 passengers plus the bass. Look for a 60/4 split for the most flexibility. The Volvo XC-90 can fit 6 passenger plus a bass, but we didn't have the budget for that one.
I'm going to be looking for a new car shortly, and was interested in the Pontiac Vibe, which is almost identical to the Toyota Matrix. I've read lots of posts from people saying it's fine for a bass and gear, but is there room for an additional passenger?
