It was a Sid & Marty Krofft (American) Saturday morning show. All of the Bugaloos were U.K. actors, though.

The other day after watching a rerun of Adventure Time or something this show came on called "Grojband" (I assume it's pronounced "Garage Band.") I watched the episode and it was actually pretty decent...
The moody chick in the back is the bassist.
I can't see Scooby Doo as the drummer (no thumbs.) If I accept the fact that he talks I guess it's not impossible for him to play drums.

Yep both were on cartoon network for about a year, probably less. I didn't really like either (that i remember), I was more into Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends at that time (also CN). I have seen that Grojband too (pronounced kinda like garage band, but the garage is more like one syllable, and it runs together like one word, as written). It wasn't bad but it wasn't good, either. The girl bassist was definitely the coolest one on there, but then again, maybe i just have a thing for moody chick bassists lol.
Btw, I'm all about Adventure Time. My girlfriend hates that i like it haha. The music episode with the door lords is awesome. And Marceline, bass playing vampire chick? Very cool stuff haha.

The Animaniacs wasn't strictly a musical cartoon but the songs they did do were actually quite clever with music reminiscent of the Golden Age cartoons.
