I have been playing the lil' green Carvin mini pa amplifier for the past few years, and every 6 months it completely shuts down and I have to take it to get fixed. I love the sound it gives, and the versatility(sp?) of playing with a guitarist as well through it, while keeping a great tone...but I'm tiring of this constant 50 dollar repair tab. I'm looking for a good amplifier now to replace it with, to play small clubs/venues, and cocktail sized gigs. Does anyone have a suggestion for a nice Upright amp, with natural tone, to run a David Gage pick-up bass through? My range is 400-900 dollars roughly, Got a suggestion, just throw em out for me.
