carvin R1000 head bad reliability?

  1. How come?

Doesn't it go under 100 HZ or something?
  2. He probably means low G, which is 49 Hz.
  3. That makes sense.

Howmuch Hz is the low B actually?

    Approximately 31 Hz.

i had the same problem w/ speakers... except that i was using Carvin 410's. I got an SWR 810, and the sound got a million times better... (not really a million, but it can handle a low B quite nicely.)
  6. So the low frequency of a cab and head must be lower than 40 Hz to handle a B string nicely?

Yes and No. If specs were the final word, then yes, you'd want "useable" freq. response down to 30.87 Hz. But there are some mighty good sounding cabs out there with low side specs in the 40s. SPECS.... THE FINAL FRONTIER.
