i had the same problem w/ speakers... except that i was using Carvin 410's. I got an SWR 810, and the sound got a million times better... (not really a million, but it can handle a low B quite nicely.)

Yes and No. If specs were the final word, then yes, you'd want "useable" freq. response down to 30.87 Hz. But there are some mighty good sounding cabs out there with low side specs in the 40s. SPECS.... THE FINAL FRONTIER.
