Carvin SB5000 / SB4000 Roll Call...Part 2!

Got the call from the Santa Ana store. My SB4000 came in on their truck today One week early.....Ordered 09/04
I wish I could call in sick tomorrow to go pick it up but I cant
Gonna pick it up first thing Saturday morning and I'll have some nice pics up by the afternoon

Okay so here is my second SB5000 just in, the lean, mean, green, MACHINE!!!

As usual Carvin's craftsmanship is top notch, can't wait to plug this baby in.

You know, I never would have considered green. But now that I see this, it looks amazing!

I normally don't like gold hardware either, but it really works well on this instrument. Bravo sir!

Thanks for all the nice comments folks, the website color chart nor these pics do it any justice. In a word it sounds AMAZING!!! I opted for the standard tone knob instead of the stacked mid this time around and it's just totally punchy and clean with an array of great tones!!! I have already got a third in the works...easy to do in this price range. I have shelved all my boutiques...not that they're not gret basses but the SB's just kill everything in my collection. C'MON Carvin and do a 6 string version!

Ok, now you guys are starting to justify my thoughts of a second Sb5000. I have a painted one....thinking about a walnut top, birdseye board, no guard, icon stock, walnut headstock, cream pus and abalone dots/logo. Hmm!
