You've got 10 days to return it if you don't like it..I just wish there were a way to play one first. I don't want to get it and not like it.

I've only had 45 minutes or so with it. Rehearsal tomorrow, then I'll really know more. One silly thing, one of the battery boxes was not screwed in, the two screws used were stripped out and not holding. I fixed it in 2 minutes, but how silly is that!? The fretwork seems very good, and it plays quite nicely. Again, though, I need more time with it to really have any valid opinions. It came almost two weeks early!
Okay, I played the new SB4000 at rehearsal yesterday and it sounded great. The guitar player, who has played a lot of bass, as well, was floored by both the tone and the looks. I guess it's a keeper.
