Carvin SB5000 / SB4000 Roll Call...Part 6!

So I emailed Carvin about sending back my SB4000 to have the body swapped for a chambered model. The exact answer from Albert at Carvin was "We do not currently sell the SB body as a part". I knew that and was hoping shipping the bass back to them would get around it, but no dice. I think I will start using my SB4000 more often for band practice and see how the weight treats me. If it's still giving my shoulder problems I may put it in the classifieds. Possibly just save up for a chambered model and then put it up once I get the new one.

Use double strap like I do. I made my own out two straps.

Hello Jack

Can you tell me what that finish and wood is?
I thought the only blacks that where available was the solid and the trans over maple.
