I found a really tasteless picture on teh interwebz but I'm not gonna show you.
Lulz.
You coulda done like the Michael Myers mask (a white spray painted william shatner mask) and gotten a generic female face mask, applied some whorish makeup (think Homer Simpson's make-up shotgun) and made a schlocky B-move, Where's My Kid: The Casey Anthony Story. There'd be your millions!
Don't hold your breath....I'm sure some soulless reaver is working on it as we speak.
I won't be holding my breath waiting for someone to pony up almost a million bucks for that mask either.

Why do we prop these people up? If it isn't Casey Anthony, it is OctoMom, or Charlie Sheen, or the Kardashians...etc.

On the thread topic, if that was a legit buy I seriously wish I was the seller.
You know, what killed this for me is the fact that the meter didn't match the original verse. If it said "...but a kid ain't one" it would've gotten at least a chuckle out of me.

I think it's wrong because we don't have all the information that the jury does and what information we have has been adulterated by the media. The jury not only has more information but they have first-hand experience with the people involved and can judge their credibility where we can't.
I just don't think someone who hasn't been in the courtroom and heard all the testimony first-hand and had a chance to size up the witnesses is in any position to monday morning quarterback.
My comment about it being sad was really pointed at the fact that so many people are willing to take up an opinion, or believe something to be true, just because they heard it on the T.V.
Thanks for taking the time to explain. I get that, I really do and I fully agree that any opinion where not all of the facts are known is trumped by the opinions of those better informed.

Let's completely leave the media out of this for a moment, because they really aren't in the news business they are in the entertainment/shock and outrage business.
In this instance my point is not at all that I somehow know better, it's rather that based on what I do know, and based upon what this one juror - someone who DOES know better than me - was saying about feeling that "she WAS guilty but not having enough to prove it beyond the shadow of a doubt" leaves me to question the verdict.
We have all heard of folks wrongly convicted, and we've all heard of the guilty going free - the legal system is not perfect. It works, but it's not 100%, absolutely, positively and unquestionably right every time. With that in mind, I think it may have been the case here where the guilty walked.

Okay I see what you're saying and agree you're not second guessing the jury.
If the jurors felt she was guilty but acquitted her anyway because the evidence didn't prove her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt then the they did what they were supposed to do and should be applauded for it.
You're right the legal system has problems. Sometimes we lock up the innocent and sometimes a guilty person walks. Hopefully, because we ask for very high standard of proof we don't lock up innocent people too often (I say that knowing we probably lock up the wrong guy more often than anyone would ever want to admit).
Im of a similar mind as Relic on the matter. I think she is in some way responsible for the death of her child, but I also agree that the jury handed out the correct verdict.
My wife asked me, yesterday, a question she heard asked earlier on the radio... If you had to choose, who would you rather have move in next door to you... Casey Anthony, Mike Tyson, or Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino?
Definitely Tyson though the sitch would be endlessly hilarious.
They should have made the mask of her showing emotion when she got off the hook. It would be more collectible due to its rarity. I bet the bid for the mask never gets paid though.
I read in the news that she is getting a half mil offer by Mr Flint to be in his magazine and another mil by some other mag to hook up to a lie detector. The offers are starting to pour in!
She will be rich in no time.

There was an article on TMZ, briefly, about her being offered, I think $5 mil, to do a porno for Vivid. I think some angry people contacted Vivid, and the next day they rescinded their offer and apologized to the public.
