I'll just plus 1 this. Can't find any arguments with your points.
I don't LIKE Johnson (like Mike, I refuse to use his "stage name"), but I don't find him to be truly offensive either. He's a harmless and sometimes entertaining guy. He doesn't seem to take himself too seriously either.
The other guys you mention I won't begin to discuss in detail, because it will begin another long argument that will not end well...
I too have always called him Chad Johnson and will continue. He doesn't bother me at all, and I find him funny. Actually the whole Bengal organization seems to be run by clowns!
I find Terrell Owens to be really annoying. Frickin' Diva

It's all for show. I honestly don't believe he has any interest in riding a bull any longer than the time he got to get on TV and talk about it. Same with soccer. Telling a professional MMA fighter than he can kick his butt? That is just stupid and ignorant. The guy has made a mockery of the NFL and his team when he is playing.
The two guys you mentioned are idiots, sure. But they also served the discipline handed out and did so out of the spotlight. As Gard mentioned, a discussion of those two won't end well, so I'm going to leave it alone from here.
Easy to ignore it? Not hardly. It's all over the news and websites I check for sports news. You can't get away from it, which I guess is what he wants.

I have no problem with this guy at all. He's a grownup, he's a talented athlete, and he's also a showman. Yeah, he's more than a little off-the-wall too, but this is the kind of thing you can expect from his personality.
I fail to see a problem.
Ain't this the truth!...I think we need more characters in the game and less criminals...
Obviously, the guy is a showboat and an attention whore. But he's a decent showman and sometimes can be fun. He doesn't have off the field problems, he has never held out of training camp, and for much of his career, he produced. I have no problem with him, I think we need more characters in the game and less criminals.
