Changing Screen name!

It's my own doing, but I am getting tired of explaining it to people, especially when the opposite is true and I really do love stratocasters

Strat:
let's create a instrument with a sloppy pickup route that we can just cover with a pickguard & then bury any resonance the wood has by mounting the pickups to the pickguard.
Oh, and don't bother with those fancy humbuckers, we like noise!

Wow... had no idea. I'd say sorry about that but I have a feeling you're doing just fine!

Weird I posted a response twice and now I can't find it!

Well its simple and I will give u the full story.

I was orginally on UBP and went by the name Big Bottom which I loved. However, when I came here that and everything else I could imagine was taken so I tried Strat Hater to be different and to show I am a bassist not a guitarist.

The truth is my favorite guitar is a strat and if my hands were not so arthritic that I could play a 6 string that's all I would own. But since my hands are so stiff and joints ache so much I totally gave up on 6 string. I just find bass a perfect match for me.

So to reiterate I love stratocasters very much and just chose that name because I hate names like big bottom23423 and the like.

I wish I could change it because I'm sick of telling the story lol

Lol. Don't apologize I do just fine. In fact it's what got me back into playing. I stopped playing and totally hated music for almost 12 years. But had this accident while oiling a chain on a truck when my glove got caught and dragged it through the sprocket. The entire hand got crushed so I started to play for therapy.

Biggest thing that upsets me is that I used to have a 3 finger technique. However, losing one of those fingers kinda sent me back to basics to reteach myself to pla with just the two. See I can't use my pinky for . Also I used to be pretty good at slap. Now I still try but suck.

Spacely Sprockets just happen to be of particularly low quality. I would never put one on my truck.
