Saying that IP infringement can have the effect of increasing supply and lowering prices is a description of economic reality, not a statement of moral approval. Describing how markets behave under imperfect enforcement is not the same as endorsing infringement, just as describing how theft insurance works doesn’t mean I approve of shoplifting.
