Hmmm. I’ve been eagerly awaiting a 5 string Caprice . Might have to consider one of these instead as MusicMan seems to be dragging their feet or have no plans for one at all.

Doc, would you mind reporting back on the neck finish. I hope it is a non gloss .
A video review would be great.

We've been here before many times before and the answer is the same - " Don't do it " - don't become a collector instead of a player - " Gas " is the easy way out - it offers a fast and short lived fix to the problem of bass addiction . Set some goals that are definable in a way beyond mere gear collection - not easily done mind you but perhaps attainable by someone of your inherent skills . The bottom line is there are way more basses that are worth acquiring than there are players capable of putting them to good use - become one of those folks that enhance the bass by skillful playing rather than one of those that merely accumulates .
