I'm not sure if it helps, but I had to set the noise gate to 0, until this I had no signal either.
after that it worked fine.

This didn't do anything until I chose an Audio Input, then the display showed a green pattern. That's all that happened... still no signal, no movement in the display, etc.

It looks like the audio input selection is being flaky. I'm seeing this on my wife's Mac, too. If you keep selecting the input you want, it'll start working after a few tries. I'll try to fix this when I get some time. Thanks for finding the problem.

I can't seem to get it working. I plug my bass in through a 1/4" to 1/8" into the computer mic input (I only have one mic and one headphones jack). I go into my audio properties and everything looks a-okay. Nothing happens in the tuner when I select my audio input.

Fixed it. It was a problem with my drivers. Awesome tuner. Love it.
Is there any way you can make the program be able to full screen making the strobe a lot bigger as well? I'm running it on a netbook by my amp. If it were larger, I could see it from a longer distance.

Just tried this and it is SPOT on. (Though I don't have an 'actual' strobe tuner to compare it to this is just great work!

Yes! I think in a few years the tuner market will be practically dead because we'll all just be using our phones.

Can't get it to work with my MacBook Pro. Have tried selecting the internal mic input multiple times. No indication that the tuner hears it.

I'm hoping that I'm getting close to a reliable Mac version of this thing. The nice folks at Nokia who build the QT framework this uses have been doing some re-working of the audio interface code. The latest QT version has eliminated some strange crashes I was seeing in Linux. Hopefuly they'll get an update version that'll successfully compile on MacOS soon.
