This didn't do anything until I chose an Audio Input, then the display showed a green pattern. That's all that happened... still no signal, no movement in the display, etc.

It looks like the audio input selection is being flaky. I'm seeing this on my wife's Mac, too. If you keep selecting the input you want, it'll start working after a few tries. I'll try to fix this when I get some time. Thanks for finding the problem.

I'm hoping that I'm getting close to a reliable Mac version of this thing. The nice folks at Nokia who build the QT framework this uses have been doing some re-working of the audio interface code. The latest QT version has eliminated some strange crashes I was seeing in Linux. Hopefuly they'll get an update version that'll successfully compile on MacOS soon.
