Just installed it and tested it. LOVE IT!!!!!! Smartphone version in the works? That would solve all my live tuning woes.

While its not free, Peterson do a very nice istrobosoft app for iphone/ipad. I use it all the time and its very accurate.
You do of course need some way of getting the signal in to the device to start with, but i find it works well with most of the main instrument interfaces like JAM, iRig etc.

I went for the Polytune. Works fine with my acoustic bass guitar, and I'll be using it at rehearsal. Boss TU-3 for gigs still. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Downloaded v6 tonight. Once I selected "default" for input it worked. Seems to be accurate however the strobe doesn't show more than a 1/2 to 1 second before it disappears. At least there are the green dots to tell you if your flat or sharp. I'll use this from now on while I'm using my old XP PC. Thanks a bunch for providing this useful tool.
