Aww, what an awesome kid you have! I wish that sentiment was more of a trend in the world we live in.

And TBird - I have mad respect for you! I wish I had the confidence to dress up and cut loose on stage how you do. Plus, you have the best legs ever! I hope I get to see your band play someday too. I'd have to bring my mom for that; she'd really love it. She would probably think that it's the most awesome thing she's ever seen.

TBird and Pocketgroove, thanks so much. Yes, he has always amazed me with how bright he is. Super sharp kid, caring and responsible too. For Christmas last year he only wanted the Harry Potter books,... all of them. He read them all by the end of summer.

I LOVE THIS! The almighty spoon. That's a terrifying thing - I'm pretty sure my grandmother broke at least a dozen of those over my sister's backside through the years.

LOL. No, never did the Bootsy thing. Nor did I have the outfit. But In 1972 I think I looked pretty good in my red crushed velvet pants, red velvet blazer with satin lapels, skin tight red & white tie dye jersey and stacked heel platforms. All accented by hair to the middle of my back. A cherry red Gibson EB-0 with red strings.

Sadly no photos exst of that outfit. I would certainly post one in the embarassing photo thread.

Now days it's just blue jeans, black t-shirt, black hat, black Inanez SR-800. Not as flashy but I'm still dancin' all over the stage just like back then.

Very few pics survive from that era but please don't doubt the existance of the EB-0. Got it free in 1970 when I bought a Quilter Big Bertha amp. Played that puppy for 20 years. Still have it but it needs major work.

Anyway, here's a couple of pics. None head on but you can see it's an EB bass.

Ok, chick with bass. Disclaimer, it's my daughter so I can't give all you the whole pic. But you get the general idea.

RPB, that's my original EB-3 I got in 1977, I had a 74 Eb3 from 75 but that got stolen. I got this one at a pawn shop for $125 bucks and it is in darn near perfect condition. Vintage 1963.
