RPB_McG- I thought you were serious about the Bootsy Collins tribute...lmao...I'm kinda dissapointed that you don't have the outfit (or do you?) but you're better looking than Bootsy.:)

LOL. No, never did the Bootsy thing. Nor did I have the outfit. But In 1972 I think I looked pretty good in my red crushed velvet pants, red velvet blazer with satin lapels, skin tight red & white tie dye jersey and stacked heel platforms. All accented by hair to the middle of my back. A cherry red Gibson EB-0 with red strings.

Sadly no photos exst of that outfit. I would certainly post one in the embarassing photo thread.

Now days it's just blue jeans, black t-shirt, black hat, black Inanez SR-800. Not as flashy but I'm still dancin' all over the stage just like back then.

Well, by all means, don't be shy.... If there ever was a forum for naked back photos, this one's it. :-)

I'll see what I can do about that. Probably not a good idea to totally go topless for the "with bass" pics. I doubt the guys wives would appreciate that even for the sake of art. I might have some old ones buried on a CD somewhere from when it was being worked on.

Totally chick oriented, but how about - "Who needs boobs with a bass like this?"

I need to say thanks all of you beautiful people for your compliments - PassivAggresiv, FurryMonkey, ric3xrt, Tat2Heart, RPB McG, Buchannanbass,THand (big thanks!) Samthebassist and eveybody I missed, plus Deej for starting it all the first place.

You are most welcome. You deserve all the compliments.

I happened to pull up several of your Youtube videos today. Great stuff!!!

My 21 year old nephew is f2m trans and loves anything drag/crossdress. He's also a pretty good guitarist. Gonna turn him on to your band.

Too bad you're on the other side of the country. It would be great to see you guys play.

In that vid I'm playing my Lull, it's a fantastic bass - the pickup is reverse engineered from a '63 Gibson, I love that bass! Being a devout pick player - that song nearly does me in!
.....

Thanks for the Lull gas bro !

EDIT: I thought I'd share what my 9 year olds reaction was...

Me: This is one of my friends on TB

Him: She plays bass too i guess

Me: Thats a guy

Him: OK

Me: He's really a cool guy, but dresses like a girl

Him: So. That's just like what KISS does.

Me: Well what if he likes to dress like that offstage? If he doesn't, there are alot of guys who do.

Him: So. I like to take my pants off when I get home from school. What's it matter?

Me: Some people on TB have been very rude and mean to him on TB just because of how he dresses. He's always been nice to people there, and most people think he's great, but some are being mean just because of how he looks.

Him: That's stupid! That's none of their business. Girls get to wear pants or a dress, wear makeup or not, have their hair anyway they want...Well if everyone is supposed to be equal and fair, he should be able to wear a dress or whatever he wants. I may decide to put on a dress right now myself. I dare anyone to tell me what I can wear!

Me:mm. you're not putting on a dress.

Him: I will if I want. You just said he was a cool guy and people were mean to him. No body better think they are going to be mean to me, if I wear a dress.

Me: you're not putting on a dress

Him: Why not?

Me: We don't have any.

I kid you not. Made me proud.
He also brought his progress report home today, all 100's.
I have a smart kid.

Holy awesomeness. How do you not have a picture of that!?!

Black is cool....very rock...

I too rock an Ibanez......Gio....lol...Spector Rebop on layaway though. Can't wait for that!

Tat2dHeart- You look so pretty in your pic! I can't make out the tattoo though...each time I look at it it's something different...blue elves with big horns....blue dogs laying down with dog heads on sticks...I got nothin'
I think the Squire matches the lime stripe slides better, and I think a nude back pic of the tattoos (I almost shortened that to tats right there, but realized after I typed it probably not the best idea) plus bass could be awesome and tasteful. I think the rule is don't 'slip a nip' and you're okay. Maybe someone who knows can clarify? Thor?

Checkered Past Guy- I forget your screen name at the moment, but I didn't want to forget...4 inch platforms? Really? How is it that the guys in this forum have way better shoes than me? And are any of you an 8 or 8.5 in womens?
And while I'm on the shoes, PassivAgressiv-LOVE the boots in your pic! I'm dyin' here. I can't afford to go shoe shopping right now! (gotta pay off that bass!)

One last note tonight before I slip between the sheets...

For all you gents who posted your pics so we can see our friends - thank you! It's great to be able to put a face with a name. I didn't realize we had so many cuties in the group. I'll be dreaming sweet dreams tonight for sure. Toodles!

Thank you!

I think I'm up the coast from you, granted not a short trip but if you're ever in Washington look me up!

I have lurked from the begining of thread 1. Lots of very funny banter, some deep commentary, along with a few sour fruits. Every time I thought it was a goner, the thread was saved. Deej, Sam, Tbird, and the rest of LLP team: You are all very cool cats. And the gentle herder of said cat army? Fantastic. So I offer this:

May the day never come that this thread is not on page one of gig humor. :)

'bout time somebody brought a little kink back to this thread. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more

Thank you!

Duh... I don't know why but I was thinking you were east coast. (Just look at the location Grant... :rollno:)

I have friends in Oregon I plan in seeing in the next year. A side trip just a bit further north would be doable. If it comes to pass I'll get in touch fore sure.

But my furniture's more comfortable! And I didn't hear THand offering cake... :D :p

Really, who's making the better offer? :hiding:

Oh, I wasn't trying to get her to not go up there, don't take it that way please. I'm sure you're furniture is da best and comfiest! Always wanted to see Detroit, being an old KISS fan (Detroit Rock City) myself. So you have the better offer no doubt. Hell I'm searching for a van cool enough for the road trip!

Just sayin' , "Mi Casa Su Casa " and if the little lady wants cake, I'll bake her one. And a mighty cake it shall be! :D
Really, If mine sucks, there is a Mennonite bakery just a few mile up the road. And Mennonites take their cake bakin' seriously, lol.;)
