I'm gonna be okay. Good friends here on TB spent a lot of time with me last night and today. It's made the coping easier.
Tat2dHeart - Glad you made it through. You have great friends. If you find difficulty coping, please don't hesitate to find professional help. I've been down that path, and it's not pretty. I would hate to see someone else head in that direction.
Same here. My other thread subs don't get as much activity, and aren't as funny and/or interesting. This one fires off emails every few hours. Heheh. Need more chicks with basses!

I've been trying to load talkbass since around 8 and it wouldn't load!
I even tried different browsers and nothing, everything else worked, just no talkbass.

I saw a particularly nasty racist comment posted here. I just want to note for the record that if you post something blatantly racist here, expect to be banned.
For everyone else, I find your mutual support encouraging and refreshing. Thanks. I also tried to get on earlier without success. Spent the last few days in bed with the grippe. The grippe is better now.

I really haven't drank in the past 19+ years. That means my two kids still living at home, have never seen me drink in their lives.
So went to the tattoo shop for, well a tattoo...felt like I needed to hurt, more than needed any artwork. My fav shop was closed for 911. Went to another shop, and they didn't even know what a bass clef was. So we debated for hours. I walked away untattooed and unhappy about it.
So then,I took the fam to Ruby Tuesday's. ordered some ribs(Memphis blend). I swiped a Klonopine from my wife, and when the drinks came up, I ordered a Guinness, and told her to keep them coming.She did. Everybody looked shocked. Wife drove home, while I tried to chill. Tried to get on TB, and the server was down. Probably a good thing, because my head isn't completely clear right now.
