Tat2dHeart - Hey, sweetie. Just read through the posts from last night and thought I'd check in to see how you're doing this morning. That's a pretty scary and horrible thing to have happen, I imagine you'll be shaken for awhile. Think self-soothing. Warm baths, hot tea, soft music, dumb movies, whatever brings you comfort. It'll haunt you for awhile, but you'll be okay. Hang in there.

My heart is aching for the family of Ralph Ameduri, Jr. and Thomas Wynn & The Believers, the group he was subbing with last night. It's a senseless and tragic loss.
I'm still shaky today, but I'm doing what you have to do. I caught a nap, went to my bass lesson. Had a minor meltdown (today's lesson was World I Know) but managed to get through that. Got home to all this news:

Now my task at hand is to figure out how to privately get in touch with someone in the band to let them know that I have video from last night's performance that has a lot of focus on Ralph, and that it's theirs and the family's if they want it. I don't even feel right about watching it right now.
It looks like the obvious thing is to try Facebook private messaging and make a title that will catch their attention, because I'm sure they will get alot of post. I wouldn't write it on the wall though.

Tat: We are glad that you were not an even more direct part of this horrible tragedy. It may turn out that you have some of the last footage of Ralph, since you focused on the bass player (not typical). I am ~100% certain that his family and friends will welcome you sharing that with them.

Thank you for your kind words. The group here has been amazing. I don't even know how to say thank you enough - however, it's time to get back to our regularly scheduled programming.
