KJung , Peter, Mothra and Jonno all usefull tips!
You guys are users/specialists on AC and describe very well what you experience and hear. Thanks for that.

At the end of the day i think all three of them ( LM , LG and RA)
should be in the collection. ;-)).

So i guess i'll have to either win the lotery or sell my car LOL

Not really for this AC thread, but more in the scope of getting different sound from different basses , i wanted to share my latest kinda 'multipurpose' custom made bass ( Dutch Luthier AvdE):

Sandwich body
Maple neck 35 inch
AvdE Jazz pickups
AvdE MM Stingray style pickup- 3 way switch
3 volumes (for each pickup)
Active /passive switch
Bass boost
Treble boost
Highmidsweep (smooth!)

Its a Jazz Bass and Stingray in one .
Pumpin , direct tone .I really enjoy playing this bass.

Unfourtunately i dont have any soundclips.

But i must admit that it is not possible to get that warm burping "rosewood neck"sound from this bass .

I need an LG5!

Hey...looks like Nate Watts votes for the LG too!:bassist::bassist::bassist:

Cool. Brian and I went to the same high school. When we were playing Stairway to Heaven at the talent show Brian rips out his on composition with like three different keyboards. His dad was the Jazz Band Instructor. I played football instead of being a trained bassist.:hmm::rollno:
