The Cyrus song is pretty aweful, but she looks way better in leather pants than I do! Her success is simply proof that marketing dollars trumps talent every time... The Bass sound is absolutely slamming though!

I dont know . I kind of dig the song.. she wasnt pitchy dog!
She owned that stage... and the camera... if she plays her cards right she could really have a great career... if she can be that confident at 17 when shes 25 she will kick some tail.. of course after the boyfriend breakups, drug rehab stuff.. 
I am not that critical of new talent as some folks are.. its a new thing. and there is good in there.. and i give credit for not lip syncing and really singing..
But she did have tha Lady Gaga holding the hand up ion the air blocking the sun out sort of pose.. Thats the new thing in current choreography i guess . Ya see it everywhere.
Buy Vashon layed it down with the drums for a great march vibe....

I'm sure it's possible but it would take a lot of convincing - Jimmy is not a fan of 60's spacing on Ash.
Don't get me wrong, I'd play for anyone who'd pay me, but I'm not spending hard earned dollars on something like that. Yes, the bass WAS slammin' indeed. Nice tp see Jimmy's creation on the networks.
I never bothered to ask if Jimmy was going to be a namm. I was sad to find out wheni got there that pretty much all the bass builders did not attend. I was going to use the show as an excuse to order an LM5 heheh
I was at Namm and he was not there. lakland, warrior, warwick, and Musicman were there, and a few custom guys, s well as the low end. A pretty fun show, but small.
I was at Namm too. Hanging at LowEnd booth. I hope when Nashville get new convention center, they'll step up with Summer Namm.
I want that bass so freaking BAD!! I'm actually getting ready to sell basses to help fund renovations on our house so I can't
even think about buying anything right now.

My name is Tommy, I live in South America and I´m an Alleva Coppolo, user and dealer from my area. I just want to share some pictures of my beauty one piece body EUT5 in Vintage White Nitro exact as the finish on the new Paul Turner LG5... This bass sounds Monster and I´m so happy with AC Basses. I´m a fan of the classic sounds and immediately I receive my new AC bass I made a contest with my Jazz 76 and I need confest that the AC is the only 5 strings that is very close to match all the tones of my vintage Jazz, the feel and balance string to string is amazing in pasive mode...but when you start the preamp...this turns in a tone moster!!!

Great looking bass, is that the colour Olympic White or AGED Olympic White, you are using the colour Vintage White so i am confused.
On the third pic the colour seems like AGED Olympic White ( a bit yellowish) with a black pickguard?

You are right about the pickguard on the third pick , its the angle of the pic taken.
Bit still i wonder if there are two white colours for AC basses ?
Olympic W being white and the Vintage or Aged Olympic White being a bit more yellow?
He said the specs are similar to Paul Turner's bass so it should be Aged Oly White.
IMHO that's not aged OLy White,,,,
Just give it a couple of years,,Mine is definitely changing and it's 2.5 or so old.
It's looks amazing though,,such a classic combo.

yeah the nitro finishes on the ACs are really crazy....my KBP5 (nitro burst) is only 2 years old, I've only owned it for a few months and already a huge chunk of paint has chipped away from it rubbing against my bag when I'm walking around with it in NYC....it looks dope though!
What bag are you using? Nitro is a bit fussy, and you really need a soft bag lining with no plastic. I use the Mono bag with mine, and it still looks new after 2 years.
