Thanks MixBass and Pete for info. I think I'm going to change order to a KBP5. I really enjoy my LM5 and like KJung, I feel I want need another J bass. I get all the J tone I need with it. Now, just picking color. I was going with CAOJ, but a P, to me, looks better with a regular vintage color. I'm thinking olympic white or Fiesta or Dakota Red. What ya'll think good people.

I myself have been dreaming of a CAR, white pickguard, rosewood w/ matching headstock KBP... Someday.

Ok. I went with the KBP5 in sunburst. My favorite is white, but my LM5 is translucent white. The reds are cool, but will ask myself later, "why did I pick this color?" HYPED FOR THE MOMENT!
I think I've cured my gass. Like Paper or Plastic, all I have to ask now is, "J or P?" LMAO!

Any feedback on what's new with the newer basses as compared to the one which I use to own?

Here's an Alleva-Coppolo that I owned about 4 years ago and at the present, fellow Tb'r Dan Knowlton still owns. I'm curious the new refinements that AC has since added as compared to older models such as this. I know the lollipop tuner is one, but what else? Since he's now local to me, I may pay visit and just maybe I'll pop on the band wagon once again since the recession has ended. :)

Great Choice.. Classis. you can go any type gig with that bass color ..

And i met your friend from Lowend at the Vintage Show in Dallas this past weekend.. very cool guy.. I think Jimmy would do good doing the vintage guitar show, may be better for him to do that than Summer NAMM.. Since the Vintage guitar shows never have enough vintage basses...
