He's a Detroit bassist that plays a church gig that some other TBers (Matrok and Burk) also play on occasion. I don't know him personally. My hair and skin start to smoke and sizzle if I get too close to the front door of any sort of house of worship.
Well, that's better than me I guess... that's what happens if I just get too close to sunlight!
:hiding:

It's pretty amazing that you guys do multiple services on Sunday and can fill that huge arena at each one!

same here....dope gig man and the band sounds extremely professional. If only MY church gig was like that! :crying:

We tour with the singer. Our band is the house band along with the rest of the LW crew. Believe me...ive had PLENTY of church gigs where it was NOT this much fun.

On the youtube thing...can u guys believe someone hacked my account and deleted vids all the way til 2006. I managed to recoop like 3 from friends who had downloaded them. But over 15 were gone. :bawl: JUST GOTTA MAKE MORE AND EVEN BETTER THIS TIME. :bassist:

PLEASE DO!

...and pick a better password, too... :)

Hey Guys,
I don't know how the club works about posting prices
But, I possibly have to sell my 2 Alleva~Coppolo's, because I just got laid off from my dayjob and to make matters worse my wife is due to have our first child any moment now!!

here is what i have...
LM5 from bass player live 2008 Ash body natural finish maple board (NYC BODY)

RA5 fretless from NAMM 2010 Alder Body (last of the NYC bodies) 3tsb maple neck unlined honduran board

The fretless has been @ Jimmy's since April and has NEVER been gigged!!!

this is legit and if you have any questions contact Jimmy or myself [email protected] please don't pm me here because I don't check it often!

Thanks, Bob

Sorry to hear about the lay off. These times are getting rough.. Hope you find something real fast! And best withes to you and the Mrs with your new arrival.

I played both of your basses and each of them are real nice specimens.

That is a good P pickup for sure.. Urian on TB did the same thing to his 57 RI P.. and he liked it alot too.

I don't expect this will get me a number, but I just dropped an Alleva-Coppolo precision pickup in my Fender American Vintage '62 RI and did all the wiring again from scratch with new pots, input jack socket and orange drop cap. Incredible tone!

Urian, it was your thread that inspired me to do the upgrade! Anyone considering your '57 RI has my utmost recommendation (for what ever that is worth), it's almost like they were MEANT to have KPB pickup to begin with.

TI flats and a .1 orange drop cap go a long way too ;)

Anyway, sorry to hi-jack with Fender content. Really, the pickup brings out the epitome of the precision tone.
