Congrats Mitch, bring it to this summers GTG if you are still in the states and go, i will bring my Sadowsky, hopefully my second Sad will be built by then and i will bring that too along with my Valenti's...I am sure you will smoke the LG just like your KBP5.
Here's some...Looked like there were some psychedelic influences on some of the basses at NAMM. Anyone have bigger shots?

i liked the DAY GLOW bass...but all i could think about was how much it looked like a pic the virgin mary.
Maybe its just the latino in me that sees her in the most RANDOM places...LOL Either way! KILLER BASS!

Jonno in what gigbag did you receive your new Alleva Coppolo bass?
Any experience with the MONO gigbags?
Or Kirks fantastic Oly White ?
Nothing better to my for an LG than Oly white, dark Indian board, and tort guard with matching headstock IMO. Put binding an no blocks, and there you go... probably the most classy looking LG spec there is (IMO again). Regardless of the brand of bass, that J spec just kills, and it looks GREAT on state.
That would be my choice all the way, followed closely by the Shoreline gold with a tort guard on the LG (or mint on the LM).
Ken you're right about the Oly White , looks good on stage always!
I also never really dug a dark body color (like the Candy Apple orange) with a rosewood board. I really like the contrast between the dark neck and a lighter body, which also shows of the guard more. Pure personal taste there. Darker colors on the LM and lighter or Duco colors on the LG's. That contrast really makes all parts of the bass 'pop' visually to me.
Again, aesthetics is so personal that it almost isn't work commenting, but you asked![]()
I'm about to sell a Smith and then will check out an order for a LM5 standart - in Orange Apple Juice![]()

Auch Sehr Schön !
Btw backorder time for LM5 approx 15 months or so.
Dont know if this changed.
Or Kirks fantastic Oly White ?
