IS this the Beer- the real strong one- that you guys are talkin' about?? :hyper:

We USED to have a Pub/Brewery down here that stocked that, I used to have a couple of those- at like 12% alcohol or something??? - MAN it was like a malted milkshake :D LOVELY.

But I aint seen it around here for yrs, & NO-ONE knows what I'm on about when I try & describe it to 'em. "yeah, right, a 12% or 13% BEER!?!?!? Sure!!" :rollno:

Was made in Boston IIRC.

Sam Adams is a great beer, dark amber in color and a strong hoppy taste.
However, it's only about 5% alcohol. Fine by me;)

It was my first choice for a long time.
I've been on a Boulevard Pale kick for a while now.
It's made near me, in Kansas City.

I haven't tried all 18 styles of Sam Adams, only about 9 or so... I've loved every one of them so far. Boston Lager will always be #1 but that Black Lager is a sure close second. The darker the better, I wanna be able to almost chew it, lol.

If nothing else, I would very definitely not sacrifice that '63 P. I mean, if you were already thinking about selling it regardless, ok, but if the only reason was to get into an AC, I say save your shekels and keep the P. The Sadowsky can be MUCH more easily replaced, if it came to that.

I second that....not worth it....great basses, but not worth getting rid of a pre-CBS Fender IMO

Yeah, but what you would re-coup would not be equal to what you lost (again, assuming you otherwise were not already planning to sell it for some other reason.)

I really should remind myself more often that the '63 is worth more than money.
