My studio set-up, Millenia for clean signal, Aguilar for a little grit, and B12 for some roundness with my beloved classic supreme LG5 :)

I had a '65 B15 flip top that was all original and in perfect working order... just the grill cloth was faded and a lot of the vinyl was off the bottom... got it for free (don't kill me) and sold it (ok, now you can kill me.) I would SO like to hear it with my LG. :(

ouch :rollno:
At some point I do want to get a B15 cab, as the heads are identical to better handle the low-end, but even as it is, engineers love the sound of it:bassist:

Hey Jerome do you remember my red LG5 fretless its one of the first two Jimmy built circa July 2005 and probably close in age to your #1...B50025

I only vaguely remember that bass ... I spoke to Jimmy about it after you got it & posted the pic ... i remember playing it & thinking it would've been cool to have if i played fretless ... I can only imagine how good it sounds now with age.
Maybe I'll trade you the Rootbeer bass for it someday... ;-)

Guys, I have NOT been able to put this RA5 down for the past 2 days. This thing is SERIOUS!!! Hands down the best bass I've ever played....switching back and forth between the RA and the KBP it's like night and day. The neck on the RA is almost slippery and after a little tweaking it's literally effortless to play. I haven't been able to handle playing with roundwounds for the last 4 years and this bass has completely reestablished my love for that sound. WOW is really all I can say. I think I'm gonna make a video soon comparing the two so I'll def post it here when I do!
