Club Alleva-Coppolo (Part 16)

Hey guys. Here is yet another clip of my LM. This clip was meant to highlight the new Genz Genz Streamliner and the Audiokinesis T112, but since it uses the Alleva-Coppolo, I thought I'd post it up here as another data point.

You can hear that tubey low end of the Streamliner (amazing head... three 12ax7's in the preamp.. very warm). It KILLS with a PBass.

I used the LM to demonstrate that the head has plenty of snap up top if you run it clean. The LM continues to kill IMO!

Whoa...that head sounds great clean with the LM! That buttery high end reminds me alot of the old Demeter tube preamp I used to own years ago. The treble response is all there, but instead of a super zingy sizzle it's warm and smooth. I love it!

Had a weird dream about Mitch's GTG last night, both Jason and ken were in attendance. I'll give you the abridged version.

On my way up to Mitch's apartment I noticed Jasons bass leaning next to the door he promptly came out from what looked like a strip club and said he wanted me to drive his family to the Bronx zoo. I was kind of annoyed but didnt want to be rude On the way Ken popped in the picture and insisted that we take my LM down to my boat as it would be a great place to shoot a YouTube video. I don't have a dog but somehow my dog made an appearance in kens video.

I remember more weird details too. I never made it in to Mitch's.

Strange thing is, I had a dream the other night about your dog and a couple of waitresses from a restaurant I go to regularly. But, I won't go into it:D

While those are nice cases; they weigh a ton. And take up waaaaay more room than the portabag or protec.
I've retired all my hard cases, except for when I anticipate "severe travel duty."

Love the portabag.

I still use my 3 year old Tweed iGig bag that I bought as extra... But I did keep the Protec Contego that came with my LM, it's also a nice case but I use it to store another bass. I keep a hardshell around for travel or shipping... But that rarely happens.
