I only played one lefty from 2005 (?) you can see it on theLowEnd.com side but this Bass belongs to a friend from Belgium - and also the colour is not mine ;)

but this is also an old model ?! (the Pre amp only has 4 knobs)

and regarding this - with all taxes etc. I will be at the same price I would have to pay right now for a new one in Orange/Apple Juice ;)

Same Pre-Amp, No Passive Tone Knob.

This was the original design from 2004-2005 (maybe early 2006)

The orange bass you played in Belgium was originally built for my friend Chris Chew, the bass player from the North Mississippi All-Stars.

He regrets getting rid of it and has a 4 string being built by Jimmy as we speak.

Well she arrived this mornig via FEDEX....
Looks Great, feels Great...Sounds even better. This is exactly what I was looking for...9lbs..wide/flat neck/vinatge vibe and sound!

Big is this a fretless, or is that a cover over the frets? Looks nice, i don't believe you that it sounds nice, i say lets meet SUNDAY and i will try her out, i will bring my VALENTI and SADOWSKY and we can compare, LOL.....your Alleva looks AWESOME. By the way i am only kidding about it not sounding nice, i am more than sure that it does, but we can always get together and jam a little.

I think it's time for an NYC AC GTG! And I'm down to host at my spot in Williamsburg if anyone's interested....I've got plenty of sweet gear to play on and anybody's welcome to bring an amp to show off too....Pete youre more than welcome to come too and anybody else out on the Island! There's an awesome biergarten right by my house too!! Let's pick a date!

Always looking to get together....every time I do this it cost me 10's of thousands in gear...LOL!
Jimmy covers the frets with a guard with the Alleva ~ Coppolo name branded in at bottom (nice touch). My LG has a 4 bolt plate that reads "limited edition" that as per Jimmy was installed as an over-site, however registered to this basses ser. # (I like personal one offs/ and human error) adds to the unique collector feel. Also the back of the head stock features an embossed "twin towers" (laser cut) as a respectful reminder of a day that we will NEVER forget! as well as a notation that reads...Made in the USA by a NYC Italian...so you think??? is this the last thing on earth manufactured with personal touch in this country! I must have it ! break the bank and place an order it's the first sign of commitment, for God's sake it took me over a year to pay off my '77 P bass back in '77. So the wait is worth it.

I don't have an AC, but do have AMPS and a SADOWSKY if that matters..LOL...If not i am down and will bring my TC RH450 along with 2 RS210 to try out some of those AC'S..Let me know. I will also bring the beer if its allowed.

haha I know it's not THAT far....I just didn't want to people to think if they're not in the city they're not welcome cause they definitely are....and Ivan you're definitely welcome....this is a great way for people without ACs to get a hands on experience! And to make it even more awesome, I just asked the best drummer I know to come jam so everyone will get a chance to play with him! (or not if you don't want to)

But seriously guys let me know who wants to go....the infamous Isaac Funknasty Teel will be on drums and some other musicians may pop by as well. I'm down to have only a few people over but if we get more people it could be really fun! How does April 9th or 16th sound? I'll have just gotten back from being on the road and I currently have those 2 Saturdays open as of now. PM me if you want to come, or those dates don't work for you!
