Per our conversation at the show, Spector has done this for years on some of their 4 string models, and to my ear, they sound great. I'd think you'd really dig it a LOT. I've also considered having something built where the neck pickup is a reverse P, but in the normal P location, and having a bridge pickup be a reverse P as well... basically what you're saying, but maybe slightly differently spaced.I was just talking with jimmy about an order... you know how i have this thing for double P pups... not like sklars spacing. but more like JJ spacing... but REV P instead..

Those series wound split "Z" pickups are underrated as pickups to be considered for configs other than the usual P or PJ IMHO. Great beefy tone, and single sensing (narrow aperture). All good.
