Jimmy has 2 Aguilar AG500 heads, a single and a dual channel. He has Aguilar DB410 & DB210 cabinets. He also has an Ampeg Micro-VR stack.

The AG500SC/DB210 is in the assembly room, so I would say he uses that primarily.

The other 2 are in the showroom for visitors and customers... Or whomever is helping him might be out in the showroom and use those amps. There's not a whole lot of room at the shop.

In case you're wondering... The EQ on all the amps are set flat for testing and he normally turns all knobs on the bass to "full" position.

Haha I know! You'd never even know I had dreads....:D

The LM5 is actually my main axe for live playing nowadays and the KBP5 is my studio workhorse so the RA5 has kinda been sitting collecting dust. That 18mm spacing on the LM just does it for me....but when I travel overseas I bring the RA since its lighter and I don't have to worry about it as much. Haha not too shabby for a beater bass!

Thats what Im talking about.... Glad that your bass made it to Singapore too.. Thats one place that i have never been.... When i first read either here or FB that your bass was lost .. I was thinking Mitch from Toronto for an instant...

I thought Debbie Gibson made it all the way to Indonesia.
You should go there.
Jakarta Jazz, Java Jazz, Bali ad a lot more...It is a good market for working musician.

Thanks....yeah fortunately it showed up but for anyone flying on a gig to Asia DO NOT EVER FLY CATHAY PACIFIC!!!!!! They claim to have a policy that instruments aren't allowed to come onto the plane even though on every flight the overhead compartments were massive and had room for my bass in just about every single one. But instead they treated our instruments like everyone else's luggage and then lost them coming from hong kong to Singapore. The guitarists case arrived broken. On the way back they lost it and he had to wait 2 days for his main axe and he went right back to work with Toni so he needed it asap. The drummer and the lead singer both had their luggage lost on the way back. Worst airline ever people.

Singapore Airlines is by far the best if you ever thinking of flying to the east. They have a direct flight from Newark and LAX...just FYI

I bailed before Indonesia , but did everywhere else ..... My stint was from 87 to early 1990..when I tried something else in NYC... Doug Stegmeyer came in after i did the gig. RIP Doug.. a real good person and player .he did all the Billy Joel hits.. Dont know if he did the tour or Tinker Barfeild did... or maybe someone else..:confused:

I have heard that.. My to date favorite is KLM.....
First class is incredible.. But coach is like other airlines First Class.
