At the risk of my own peril, I might take another sampling...

My LG still has the guard off, and I'm tempted to leave it that way permanently, but I'm still curious what others think, and I do really (also) like the guarded look. Seemed to be pretty much split down the middle last time. Here it is with it off (again) and with it laid on for a visual "what if"...

Yeah it's a killer bass....totally made me fall in love with jazz basses again, but I may have to side with the LM these days....that 18mm spacing really changed things for me
