Playing my Alleva KBP5 custom. It was a NAMM show bass last year. The big flake sparkle is killer from a distance..
..

The company I work for is having major problems right now.
I might not have a job in a month or two. I hear big layoffs
are coming this Friday. I may have to sell the KBP5 or the Oly
White LG5 (that I haven't even gotten yet) or both.
Hoefully I can figure out a way to keep all of them.

I got this photo from Jimmy last night. He did a sealer coat on my LM. The bass looks ridiculous!
I still need to choose a color. The grain on the one piece body is so nice I really, really should go trans or natural -- But I'm really tempted still to do CAOJ as I love that look.

Thanks.. When i first saw the sparkle i was thinking No way.. . especially for the gig that i now use it on .. but the guys love it... Folks at the Dallas Guitar show freaked on it.. And the bottom like is its Lighweight for me and punchy like nothing i have gigged before...
Yes, and so has other people and I'm adding a vouch for that![]()
Mitch.. I know you showed up in Singapore. but did the bass make it?
It looks great on the gig Kirk. Also both sparkly basses turned out sounding great...
