And Joel, I saw the body of your incoming LM and I really beg you to reconsider your color choice... As beautiful as CAOJ is, it would be a shame to not do some kind of trans over that piece.

Done deal. Clear poly; pearl blocks/white binding. That top IS too nice to cover...

Hello All

I bought Dan Knowlton's KBP5 in "Dark" ice blue that you may have seen in the TB adds last week.

Unpacked it yesterday and slung on some new chromes. Looked it over for shipping issues . I set it up, played like two notes and went to bed.

Tonight I got to play it in a jammy/blues /rock thing through a Mesa M9 ->Berg NV425.. HUGE! Thick grindy P bass love! I was dropping B string bombs way more often than hopefully I will in consider tasteful in 6 months

w/ blocks and binding... i would - it wouldn't look right without a guard IMO.

standard neck - sure. but when you add blocks/binding though - its more of a classic vibe and a PG is a must IMO for the classic look.
