Both of my basses are standards and they feel and play just as good as the Deluxe or custom models. Yes, I've owned a Deluxe with nitro & DN board. Just putting my two cents in, just incase someone was wondering if their is a difference in feel and playability. The DN board does have a soft feel to it though.

Just got off the phone with Jimmy and to you I've gotta say:

Good.

Looking.

Out.

Thanks, man. Pics coming in a couple weeks.

Congrats and glad I could help. I've had two bass buds come through this week and try my AC's. The LM is the one they couldn't put down. They dig the LG, but the LM gave them that "man, I want this bass" vibe.

That's awesome. I'm glad to hear your are stilling "digging" your AC's. I love mine!

Can you post some other shots of your LM? I'm digging that birch beer finish!

I'll try. My iPhone makes it look black sometimes.

Here I am at Jimmy's shop with the LM5 I picked - it was this or a gold one (note: also killer, and likely on its was to Bass San Diego when he's done). It's a natural, but stained so it has an almost amber-like hue to it that is stunning in person. 70s all the way, peeps.

I was in a real bind here. You have my most sincere thanks for the help, peeps - YCBass in particular. Not in a million years did I think for one second I'd be able to snare a brand new one in 3-4 weeks for what I paid.

I'm happy to help my man... Enjoy! Maybe I'll run into you and your new bass at an LA hotspot sometime.
