I'm wondering how a bound FB would look on my upcoming LG5in 3-T Sunburst/Nitro Finish/Indian Rosewood?
Should I just leave my FB standard, or would a nice white Binding be a cool/custom touch? The Bound FB looks amazing on that Candy Orange Juice bass. Mmmm. Yummm!

I think it would look great!....I got the idea of the bound fingerboard from Fender, actually......During the early part of 1966 they began binding their fingerboards.......they added blocks during he second half of '66 so I'm sure there is a '66 3TS Jazz Bass out there in true form.......you couldn't go wrong.....
BTW.....it's coming tomorrow.........

But if a real GTG is happening, we should def. represent Club AC...DC Style. Big Congrats on a BEAUTIFUL Bass! I love the CAOJ and the binding makes it very unique. Do you know what number it is, I imagine jimmy has got to be around 100 LG5s by now? If you are gigging out in DC with that badboy, lemme know and I'll come check you out.Oh a side note, I just noticed some new (namm?) basses up at the AC website. I'm partial to the Spalted Alder Limited, check it out that headstock tint!:

I absolutely love binding with dots! The '66 style is where it's at! I think you would love that, Gary! I've thought of that before but I may reserve it for my KBP5 someday.
