Club Alleva-Coppolo (Part 21)

First time owner here. Alabama Sky Blue painted by Professor. When John first showed me the color I just couldn't resist.
This bass blew me away. The neck feels so worn in and warm, so comfortable that it's hard to describe. It weights only 9lbs. It sounds fantastic in passive mode just like a vintage Fender with the B string. The eq in the active preamp is subtle IMO but very musical. I like the fact that the volume difference between active and passive mode is small, which will make it easy to switch modes between songs.I can't wait to play it live.

I'm so in love with it right now!

Congrats! It is a beautiful instrument! John told me about this bass when I bought the Mango Pearl from him a few weeks ago. I am sure you will enjoy this instrument many days to come.

Yes agree, Jimmy probably does not want to deal with the public directly on that info and wants you to contact a dealer. They will have that info anyways.

After a few years of using his pickups, I'm glad to finally be able to join the ranks! KBP5 in Shelby Blue

Hi guys, as you can see, I've suspended my dealer status and am currently not selling basses. Nothing to do with Jimmy or his basses- I love Jimmy and I love his instruments. I'm just settling some personal matters.

I might hang around this forum a little more often since I'm able to speak a little more freely now that I'm not a dealer or commercial user.

Oh yeah, and here's a little eye candy. As I closed the dealer status, shortly after delivering the final two basses to a few new friends in AZ and TN, I picked this up from Jimmy. As good as it gets. Booty in the low end and articulate yet buttery and creamy treble. Mids are defining. Fast, thick, custom neck. Professor finish, DN board. Truly grateful.

Great dealing with you my friend to get an amazing bass from Jimmy. I do believe he's at the top of his game/craft right now!
