I agree. It does sound amazing and has one of the best playing necks of all the ACs I've had. Jimmy does not have anymore of this wood so if anyone is interested this is a good opportunity.

Thanks for turning us on to the Hosco Truss Rod wrench. Did an extensive search for something like this but for some reason this did not show up. I bought a used LG 5 last year and the truss adjustment nut was total screwed up. Somebody just munched it up with a slotted screwdriver. Fortunately, the neck was and still has perfect relief so there has been no need to make adjustments but I'm sure someday I will. Hopefully this tool will do the job. If not has anyone had any experience changing out the truss rod adjustment nut on your AC.

Changing the nut is quite easy, just turn counter-clockwise until it comes out, then vice versa.

Can anyone give me some insight on the TB neck ,pickups and bridge spec. I know the nut is 1 3/4 but not sure if the width at the last fret is also narrower or the same as the standard LG. The bridge and pickup look the same as standard but with the string spaced tighter on the saddle.

So yes the nut width is smaller than the Standard, and the body is SLIGHTLY smaller…almost not even noticeable.
I believe the last fret and neck width at the end of the neck is slightly narrower and the neck pocket is same. That's what it looks and feels like on my TBs. This would create the same taper feel along the length of the neck. The neck width generally is slightly narrower. The bridge is 18mm, rather than Standard 19mm, so overall string spacing along the length of the neck will feel a little narrower.
Early TBs had a smaller pickup which is really what has become industry standard size for a five string. However I ordered my TBs with the longer Standard Coppolo five string pickup because I liked the tone of those a little more. So I believe Jimmy has decided to make that longer Standard size the default pickup for a few years now. I could be wrong but I think he told me that a while ago. The thing is if the strings don't line up perfectly and are a tiny mm off it won't affect tone. Some people get hung up about something like that… I don't. Everything else is same as Standard I believe. To check my info out to see if I've made any mistakes just shoot Jimmy an email.
