Nice bass!

I've had Dunlop flats on mine for a few years now. I like them. Nice medium tension and good clarity, which I look for in flats. I always think about getting some TI's to try but haven't gotten around to it.

I have been waiting what seems like forever on a Moollon P5 I had ordered, but this one will be very hard to beat.

Congrats Jim! That's a beauty! Your old PV is getting a lot of use over here. Shame YJ is so backlogged, but you've got an excellent P to hold you over now!

And that PV is sweet… one of the few that I regret letting go of.

We definitely should! I have 2 BNF5's. I really should sell one though. Only way I could justify having 2 fretless F basses is if one was an AC! (Alain Caron for you non F people). Jimmy Coppolo sold me my first F bass. I'll never let go. But now I need one of his basses.

Did you have to do much/any truss rod adjustment?
My 06 EUT5 needed a tiny adjustment recently..... 1st time! It's so stable

You know I usually do have to adjust the truss rod. My necks always move, probably because of the Colorado weather and humidity fluctuation. This time, just saddle height adjustment though.

hmm… I don't think I've ever seen one. Would be interesting. I have a Nordy vP5 with a maple board that I use to back up my KBP. And it's a great sounding P.

I did let go of a pj5 , alder with a maple board, to friend here several months ago. Killer bass…. he's very happy with it.

Anyone ever swap out their AC single coil pickups for hum cancelling pickups? I know its sacrilege. But curious if anyone has and what PUs they felt did their LG5 justice.
