Is that a straight drop in?
Having said that I do I like the trad bridge...but it's not quick release. That's it main drawback
When my KBP5 was being built, Jimmy was down to his last 2 quick release bridges so I made sure to save one. I like the convenience, BUT, I use flats on that bass and it's been on for 4 years now. I guess I that was unnecessary. Haha.

WTT: Alleva Coppolo LM5 (Old-Growth Rosewood) for RA5 (Alder/Maple)

Hey folks!

I'm looking to trade my Alleva Coppolo LM5. It features a stunning Old-Growth Indian Rosewood fingerboard (confirmed by Jimmy as a very unique piece) and an Ash body. The bass is in very good condition and sounds incredible, but I'm currently looking for a different flavor.

I am specifically looking for an Alleva Coppolo RA5 with an Alder body and Maple fingerboard (70s spacing).

I'm based in Barcelona, Spain, and I'm happy to discuss shipping options for the right trade. If you have one and are looking for that classic 60s/70s Ash/Rosewood vibe, please DM me!

Cheers!

Looks great. Unfortunately, my RA5 is my current go-to so can't help.

I might consider trading a LM5 for an LG5 but they all have their flavour, imv and I like them all.
I think Jimmy totally gets the vibe right with period correct Fender 're-makes', imv.

It's a beauty. Lots of us in the club know this bass. Why the enormous uplift in price? You've almost doubled the asking price.

I'm not sure what bass you're referencing. This (my) bass had one previous owner, a collector who'd custom ordered it to his specification. When I purchased it a little less than a year ago, I paid close to my listed price (landed).

With FretSpot having sold a new one a few weeks back at $15k, the market for most well known boutique luthiers continues to shift upwards.
