Does anyone know if Jimmy is still making the pedal format preamp (Kah Boom)?
Hey all. Just grabbed my first Alleva. Looking forward to trying it. It has a CNL board. I'm curious to learn more on the Cesar negro Lignum wood? Anyone know about the actual species? Any other details? I'm a wood geek!
Well congrats and welcome to the family. What AC did you get?
Someone else might have a better explanation but I remember Jimmy explaining to me that its actually a cross between Dalbergia Nigra ( the species of Brazilian rosewood thats most sought after) and another Dalbergia rosewood from Brazil (?). So its not a pure-bred but its darn close. It has more of the tonal and color characteristics of Brazilian compared to Indian or Indonesian. I believe he made up the name which includes the name of his dog who passed away a few years ago ( Caesar). The ones I've tried have been great.
Cool. Thanks. Im a wood geek for sure and just curious what the actual genus is for CNL. Just bought from TB and in route. Here's a pick, 2016 model.
Guys, who is this man? He tore it up.
That is Paddy van Rijswijk, but I couldn't tell you more!
That 81009 was the hotness. It was really something special, and it went to one of our buddies in Las Vegas. Don't get me started. I mean really. Since it's already sold, I suppose this is fine:I had run across his videos a few months ago and then again today. I like them.
Hey what is it with you guys at BSD selling ACs in one day? That 81009 was special!

Hey @George Himmel who bought that Surf Green LG5 Classic Supreme that just posted on BSD's website? That bass is stunning. That entire batch is great, but the Surf Green is on another tier.
