I only have an old style bent plate 5 from alleva.. It does not have the track guides on the bass plate . .Sorry

Dear folks, dont happen that much im writing on TB, but been a fresh owner (since april) of an LG5 i can just say that playing this bass is a goin on discover and a total pleasure. Mine was bought new and of course as you all know i had to sacrifice some good stuff and save a bunch of money. As previously said (old post) i had to part with another amazing instrument, and im parting, during these days to my other one amazing Fbass, to finance another AC. That been said, i would love to get an LM 4. Of course im considering a new build, but before that, i just want to check if one of you guys has something to offer (know these are quite rare), so if for any reasons you own a LM4 and you want to part with it, just please consider me as a potential buyer. I live in Italy, managin a sale it's not easy but maybe we can work it out. Cheers guys. Please forgive my english.
Well, seems my request didn't succed in any answer, but i have another question for ya. Not sure about differences between LM and LM deluxe. Could you please explain better! Thanks for help!
Thanks Albino, seems this bass is already been sold, it was on the basschat.uk for a while, then headed to Italy, sold once again in Italy, now it's in Tuscany. Funny, yesterday a guy came to buy my Fbass, told me that, this LM has a huge issue with the truss rod, a friend of him bought this, and gave it back to seller for the reason that was almost impossible to do a proper set up.

The website is unclear on it, but an LM Deluxe will have white pearloid block inlays and white binding on the fingerboard, and sometimes an optional 1-piece body.
Hey all - looking for an Alleva-Coppolo 'TB' (Tom Barney) model Jazz 5-string bass - in good to excellent condition.
Seeking 'TB' models ONLY, with the slightly narrower neck and 18mm string spacing. Must be under 10 lbs. in weight.
Definitely not looking for a standard 19mm model, with an 18mm bridge swap. Ready to move on the right AC 'TB' bass.

I'm thinking of maybe getting another AC, and I have an itch for something different than an LG, maybe something a bit more scooped in the mids, a bit not too much. I think an RA is what I'm looking to get.
I have considered an LM but I think LMs are a slap machine and I'm wanting something not as zingy in the highs. I love the LM sound, but it doesn't seem to be as present as the LG at times, and maybe the RA is a middle of the road model of the 60s and 70s.
Maybe none of that made sense, but thanks in advance for helping out.

I think that any of the Jazz style basses with the 70s Spacing will give you that slight MID SCOOP you are asking for
Always dig this video for Building RA and Noble GAS.
Makes complete sense to me.
The LG is an all-rounder, LM has all the specs of a "slap machine" so, I'd suggest that you consider a KBP or, the RA.
Hey Club, i was watching a video on youtube, a guy showing a special Kbp4 won during bassacre some year ago, he says that kbps have smaller body compared to Fender Pbasses, is it just about this prototype or all Jimmy's Pbass have smaller bodies?

Surprising. No, there's some slight variation in the contouring because the P's all are hand-routed/shaped/sanded, but to my knowledge they aren't undersized. There could conceivably be an intentionally undersized prototype or special edition though. I'm used to the fivers, which are decidedly OVERsized like the current J-styles. Speaking of which, you can occasionally find undersized J's as he has built those in the past (casually and affectionately referred to as "dinky bodies").
