No way dude, I appreciate the Hipshot bridge. I can't stand non-quick release.
Perfect! Well aside from the tort..
The one thing I find odd about Jimmy's basses is the Hipshot bridge. He should really look at getting a 5 string vintage style bridge (with the threaded saddles) manufactured since that's the vibe he's going for. The B-style bridge just looks out of place to me![]()

it would be a quik release as the others... we have been trying different metal combinations right now...
Ouch! That's rough, AJ!Oh, it's a sad day in Andrewville looks like My LG's body and neck didn't make it in the 18 bass shipment......metallic undercoat but no blue coat...yet. Looks like I just got bumped 5 weeks.

Jimmy and I have been working on a bridge just as you described..
the first prototype left some to be desired.. second proto is in the works and may come out on the KBP5 at NAMM.. i think he said you could order it on any of the basses once its etched in stone,,,
Carey Nordstrand has a quick release, Vintage style bridge with the threaded saddles on his Nordy basses.
Can't wait for pics! Please give the RA5's a spin around the block. I'd love to hear impressions!
