Yes, as one might have guessed, mine is finished:

And it's perfect for the job I bought it for: being a super allround to-go bass. It's steady, plays like a dream (big tip for all you Bebop owners: DR Marcus Miller strings) and looks pretty cool if you ask me

The thing that struck me most when I first got it was the sustain: I've had quite a few Jazz Basses in my life, from cheap to super expensive, but the sustain of this bass is insane! I've had to teach myself to mute the strings all over again. My old Celinder bass had quite some sustain but this baby beats them all! What a bass.

As always, I'm the three pickup freak, so Sander made me very happy with an Atelier Z inspired JHJ BeBop 70's :') This is one of the first prototypes of the new range of BeBop... Looking forward to get it by the end of the week!!!

Ordered this earlier this year and it's shipping out tomorrow! I love the other wine burst he built and made a couple changes and can't wait to play it next week! Alder body, Blackwood fretboard with Aguilar p-ups.

So I just found out that this shop is about 5 km's from my house.. Will stop by soon to check his works out. What makes these basses so special that they are worth the extra $$ over let's say an American Jazz bass?

I hate to say it, but the headstock shape reminds me of good ol' Teisco Del Ray! The look like great basses, though.

Bumping this because this deserves an answer: it's mostly the neck, playability and attention to detail. Every little thing is just a bit better than a Fender. I like the Bebop necks a lot, they're thin but don't feel fragile, the finish and hardware are absolutely perfect... And they al-ways work. Whenever I'm in doubt which bass to bring to a gig I always bring my Bebop and it has never let me down.

Somewhat resurrecting this zombie thread, but I got this one (barely) used a few months ago, and love it! Great neck, sounds excellent and looks killer! Haven’t gigged it yet, but had it to band practice several times…

My only complaint is watching the de Gier Facebook and InstaGram, all the BeBops are so pretty, I want one of every color
