Yes they will be. I just wanted another 6 stringer, but I couldn't make my mind up if it was going to be fretted or fret-less... so I pulled the trigger on two!
How do you like your new CB spade2you? Is that body style comfortable when playing standing up?

I find the Rami to be pretty comfortable for the most part. No gripes other than regretting my decision to have 26 frets, which kills my slap technique. Oh well, live and learn.
I'm a little partial to the Ball shape, which fits me like a glove. I don't regret the Rami shape on my 6er, although I'll be ordering another Ball for the upcoming fretless 7 in the April build.

The fanned fretted 7 is still planned, but I think the wifey would skin me if I ordered both 7 strings at once. 
String selection for 7 strings isn't horrible, although short scale is probably not gonna happen. In medium scale, there shouldn't be problems with standard strings. The main problem is finding wound strings for the F, although I'll be tuning mine like a 7 string guitar to allow the B and E to be thicker and theoretically sound less nasal, especially when combined with the shorter scale length. In fretted, having a non-wound string isn't a big deal.
As far as I can tell, D'Addario and LaBella is about the only company that I'll be using. Most companies simply don't have selection for the upper register and a wound string that thin.

Well, I can't wait to see your bass completed. I really like LaBella Strings, so that isn't too bad of choices.

Yeah, there are certainly much worse fates than LaBella strings.
Theoretically, I'd think you might be able to coax a high A# out of a medium scale or potentially a high A in standard scale. With frets, it's no biggie since the unwound strings get a sitar sound only when fretless. I'm very stoked to get this one completed since I've been talking about this for so long!
So, after that gets done, I'll probably order the 36"-33" fanned 7, which I think Cliff and I agreed would probably be pale moon ebony for the top, fingerboard, and headstock.
