What an astonishing bass...

After searching and searching and searching for a fretless, it's time to finalize the details of my next Bordwell. :) I still can't get over how awesome mine is! So why not just get another? Picture reminder with some weirdo "playing" it:

Next one will be a Big McNeely unlined fretless 4-string. Passive with some sort of Nordstrand pickups. Other details, who knows? I'll let Cliff decide whatever.

Yay the specs are finalized and the deposit will be flying off tomorrow.

Big McNeely 4-string
modern neck
Stabilized 2-tone Maple unlined fretless board
One piece Mahogany body
black hardware
passive V/V/T
Nordstrand Fat Stacks wired as single coils

My Big McNeely is underway. The body is being glued now.

My Specs:
Big McNeely 32" 4 fretted
Walnut Burl Top
Mohogany core
Walnut wings, flamed maple stripes and Mohogany center block
Bookmatched Two-tone Maple fingerboard
Modern neck with added Bubinga stripe down the center
Nordy's with Audere preamp

CAN'T WAIT!!!

Headstock talk...
I mentioned possibly offering a second headstcok option.
What do you guys think of a bass version of this?
It would be a little fatter/stockier looking for bass.

I'm thinking I'd have to actually see a prototype, but at least right now, I'm still diggin' your existing headstock better. That said, that logo looks great. It'd be nice to have at least as an option even on your existing headstock.
