Wow. Summer had me working like a mad man. Haven't checked back in here in a while.
The new batch is incredible. Vic, sorry we never got a chance to meet up but glad you are enjoying your CB. I actually didn't want to ruin the surprise of how amazing these things were by letting you get to play mine first ;)
Sam, another fine addition to the stable.
That pistachio top bass is amazing!
Thanks for posting the links and sharing some love. I will admit some of the youtube stuff is pretty poorly recorded but all the clips on my website are pretty hifi. I have a bunch of other "mainstream" examples of me using the basses in more pop/rock situations. Hit me with a PM if you want to hear them.
I recently bought a "higher end" 5 string jazz bass because as much as I love my singlecuts, they weigh a ton and kill me on 4+ hour gigs. Plus, I thought i needed a bass that looked a little more traditional. All I have to say is I am kicking myself for not just ordering another bass from Cliff. I am officially ruined from enjoying any other bass for the rest of my life... Thanks a lot Cliff :hiding: :D

The idea is going to be something along the lines of a Rami/Performance Hybrid. Something more like a jazz bass. Passive. No frills. Ash and Maple. Possibly with a different headstock design. The goal is essentially to design a CB jazz bass type instrument.
Does anybody here know of anyone that does good photoshop mockups?

I'm sure Cliff's "traditional" shape and perhaps a modified headstock would probably appeal to the traditional vibe while being superior in many ways. The Rami shape is still very comfortable and somewhat traditional-ish. Ultimately, the Ball bass fits me like a glove, so I'll deal with the untraditional style. Then again, "normal" has never quite been my thing.

I'm decent, what are you looking to design / do?

I am pretty much looking for somebody to combine two body shapes
The horns (upper and lower) of this bass

With the rest of the body of this one

Let me know if that makes sense
