I've had one for over 3 years now and it's brilliant!
Very well padded and put together and the leather is incredibly hard wearing.
It looks even better now than it did when I got it too :hyper:

Can they use heavy duty nylon? Leather is ok, but I typically think ballistic nylon is generally better for the long haul.

Well, it becomes part of human nature once you start seeing those $$$$ price tags. I took the bait and have an iGig double bag arriving this afternoon.

Now, the "worst" GAS I've seen is the NOS strap posts at The Gear Page, e.g. Moody Leather "isn't the same company", and now people say a Moody strap from x-amount of years ago is the one you want, not the current offerings.

Haha! Yes, I can. I started GASsing for a leather bag as soon as I saw a good friend's Reunion Gigbag. I'm actually placing an order for the double-bass bag from Probag now too. I figure since I put so much money into beautiful instruments, why not put a bit more into something nice looking, custom, and high quality to protect it?

Anyone make shorter gig bags or custom hard cases? I don't think a standard gig bag would work (well) with a headless bass.

How about using guitar gig bags? That is if you decide on 32" scale headless. I think it can fit in.

Hmmm... I keep seeing only three of four basses. This new design must be something really different. Cliff's communication has always been great, but he's been real quiet about this new design.

Isn't one of us Talkbassers getting this new design? Let's make him talk! Just leave Cliff alone. He's building mine next.
