I like the new headstock shape:

The one on the left is 1000x better. The other one looks like it could have come from about ten other makers.

Great...I am really looking forward to it! A million thanks for being willing to do this.

Do you plan on demonstrating the various pickup positions?

With regards to the Nordstrand DCs and Audere, I'm always amazed with how many sounds you can get.

It's cool that Cliff has a couple of options now.

Soon to be headless, too. That being said, I have no problem with Cliff's normal headstock. The main reason I'm considering headless is to allow me to go nuts with an extremely light body without having to worry about neck dive.

Quick question, what gig-bags are you all using for yr Ball Basses??

My Mono doesn't like the placement of the upper horn, it's a tad tight for my tastes.
I think the iGig is little wider.

Short version:
MY BASS IS SICK!!!!!!!

I don't have any CB Basses yet but I use a double Undercover Gig Bag. I've had it for about 8 or 9 years and it is still great.

I prefer the Sadowsky portabags (mainly the older model, but I think even the newer Access made model works too) as well as a Markbass bag and the Roscoe bags, which I think are made by SKB. All fit just fine.

My SC fits nicely in my iGig dbl bag, and is also sick.

I had the undercover double bag for years. Hated the backpack straps. Very uncomfortable with 2 basses. Not nearly the protection of the Mono cases and very tight fit with a jazz and a P bass.

Hmmm... I do admit that if I try to use both or just one strap for a single shoulder mount, it sucks. If I do the double straps, I find it very comfortable.

OK... Tracking numbers went out last week. Anyone get their's yet???

I'm gassing so much, I'm gassing for others' pictures!

OK... 31 days in August, 30 in September, 31 in October... So if Cliff does each group in three month periods, that's Novermber 6th. That's 92 days from August 6th (about when you guys announced your tracking numbers).

That makes today T-85. But who's counting?

Mine is also here. In the middle of a crazy stretch of gigs right now so not much time to go into details. The short story... It is amazing. Looks great, super light on the shoulders. Getting it out to most my gigs this week to put it thru the ringer. Ordered it passive but might end up dropping in a pre afterall... jury is still out on that one.
All in all I am a happy man :hyper:

Teaser.....It has a 12th fret Handlebar Moustache inlay

If this is true...you are my hero.

I received my SC Friday. It's been getting a lot of attention thus far. Very comfortable neck and overall balance. Tone-wise, I am surprised by the very tight, thump of the lower end of the fretboard. It's a 34" 5-er, and the B is great (and I have TI flats on --- not flappy). The Piezo sounds good, and at ~60%(magnetic)/40%(Piezo) blend the bass really sings. Nordy FS pups and Nordy pre round out the electronics, and they match-up well (as one would hope).

I couldn't resist :D

Sorry for the sub-par pic, but.................It's Fun and the Hanndlebar Moustache should never look "perfect" It will always look off to you, but nobody else notices

And Much better shots (pro-ish) are coming

Sweet!
