The main reason I'm considering headless is to allow me to go nuts with an extremely light body without having to worry about neck dive.
Your reasoning for going headless makes sense to me.
I'm thinking the Hipshot Headless System will be cool for a 32" scale for a number of reasons:
1) Total length of instrument will be reduced - talk about easily transportable...fit into a guitar case?
2) Less weight on the headstock side of things (as you have stated)
3) No need to string through the body or have custom string gauges - just use 34" scale strings and snip off what you don't need at the headpiece.
4) Just flat out fun to have!
